Latest on SH1 Barters Road/Pound Road Improvements

The new section of Pound Road, between Main South Road and Waterloo Road, is open to traffic significantly improving roading access within the business park.

Now that the new Pound Road has been opened, the NZTA can complete the final section of road and footpaths at the Waterloo Road/Barters Road intersection along with site landscaping.

Fencing will be placed along the south side of the railway tracks at Barters Road to prevent vehicles and pedestrians from crossing the tracks at this location.
