HALSWELL JUNCTION ROAD UPDATE

Here at Waterloo we are about enriching the lives of those in and around the park. One way we are doing this is to improve road connectivity by creating safer, user and resident friendly transport links. The Halswell Junction Road extension and realignment will create a by-pass of the residential areas, allowing heavy industrial vehicles to access the Southern Motorway with ease.  

We anticipate that the new extension will produce the new preferred link between the West Coast and Southern Christchurch, including the Port of Lyttleton.

We are currently working with the council to bring the realignment of Halswell Junction road into fruition and we are hoping to know the timeline for the works by the late summer. Keep an eye for updates in our future newsletters.
